Edinburgh's Secret Vaudeville
ABOUT THE SHOW
Edinburgh's 'Secret' Vaudeville is a night of schmoozing, cocktailing, bopping and bedazzling amidst an extravagant carnivalesque show involving a wide assortment of performance-arts including: magic, character comedy, sketch, stand-up, improv, cabaret, dance, mini-plays, monologue, acrobatics, clowning, political ranting, male impersonation, female impersonation, more political ranting (this is usually provided by the audience which is great because I don't have to pay them), video art, ventriloquism, impressionism (not Claude Monet or any of those guys maybe Rory Rembrandt come on, it's almost an anagram), hoopla, contortionism, mime, physical theatre and a good old dose of audience participation (you have been warned!).
There is a discounted cocktail menu, a light snacks menu, music and dancing after the show and a few secret surprises.
It's the worst kept secret in Edinburgh spread it!

COMEDY from Carey Marx, who will be opening up the show with highlights from his Edinburgh Fringe show, Intensive Carey, "Marx's humour has always been tinged with mischievous darkness, and now he's got really edgy, personal subject matter to discuss, he's going to make the best of it. Sharp, sweet, cheeky, cynical, romantic and rude as ever!" CHORTLE - Not for the feint hearted!
AWARD-WINNING AND SUBLIMELY UNIQUE SKETCH TROUPE The Colour Ham will fill the entire VAUDEVILLE section with their hilarity, mind-reading, magic and sketches - these guys are on the brink of superstardom - do not miss this opportunity to say, "We saw them when they weren't famous" I guarantee that they will quite simply blow you away. Our CABARET section will be filled by the quite stunning unique NEO-VAUDEVILLE VIDEO ARTIST, Miss Annabel Sings, who will transfix you with her unique cabaret-Vaudeville-video-clowning act involving a pink guitar, polka-dots, live video art, body and facial contortionism and oh, oh, OH! Soooooo much more.
She may also transfix the audience with some dark airts from which you will never recover!
