David W. Yarbrough, PhD, PE
Dr. Yarbrough is Vice President of R&D Services, Inc. a testing and consulting company that specializes in thermal insulations and related building materials. He is also a member of the Board of Direction of the Building Enclosure Technology and Environment Council (BETEC) of the National Institute of Building Sciences. He has been active in the fields of heat transfer and thermal insulation technology for over 30 years as a member of the engineering faculty at Tennessee Technological University (retired in 2002) and a research participant at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (retired in 2011). Most recently he has been a part of the BEST Conferences as a member of the Technical Committees for BEST3 and BEST4.
