Il Trovatore - Opera in Cinema - LIVE from Gran Teatre del Liceu
Founded in 1847, the Gran Teatre del Liceu has retained its role as a culture and arts centre throughout its history. A symbol of the vitality and energy of Barcelona, the Gran Teatre del Liceu has always been a powerful stimulus to artistic creativity in Spain. It aims to innovate with ideas that stimulate the identification of opera with a creative, living art form that is open to new audiences.
The Liceu's new Opera in Cinema program is pleased to present this production of Verdi's Il Trovatore, featuring Fiorenza Cedolins as Lenora, Marco Berti as Manrico, Luciana D'Intino as Azucena, Roberto Frontali as Conte Di Luna, and Paata Burchuladze as Fernando. The production is conducted by Marco Armiliato and staged by Gilbert Deflo.
