Curtis and Martha Jayson, a husband and wife anthropologist team, and their nomadic and forthright lifestyle causes friction as their homecoming envelops them in the domestic responsibilities of a proud New England family. The debate of gender roles in the family, community expectations, and work-life balance are all questioned in this show about morality set in the early 1920's.
