Hello, Dolly! discovers Dolly Levi arranging the marriage of the half-millionaire Horace Vandergelder. Dolly has indeed found the perfect wife for him herself! Now she must win the heart of her unsuspecting "husband-to-be" before he gets hitched to somebody else.

The original Broadway production won 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and became the longest playing Broadway musical of its time. Adapted from Thorton Wilder's The Matchmaker, Hello, Dolly! was produced on Broadway by David Merrick, with musical score by Jerry Herman (Mame; La Cage Aux Folles) and book by Michael Stewart (Bye, Bye, Birdie; 42nd Street). The show has since become an enduring musical theater sensation, enjoying three Broadway revivals and international success.
