BMC Night Beat presents "A Broadway Cabaret "
"A Broadway Cabaret" will light up the Bellingham Music Club's "Night Beat" evening on Thursday, October 2, 2014, 7:30 pm, at The Firehouse Performing Arts Center. This upbeat, nightclub-style revue features beloved Broadway and stage songs from the last 100 years, from Gilbert & Sullivan to Wicked. Ballads, comedy numbers, and show-stoppers from favorites like HMS Pinafore, The Mikado, South Pacific, Annie, Guys and Dolls, Oklahoma, A Chorus Line, and Kiss Me Kate. The four lead performers, veterans of many local and regional productions, were all featured in the recent Musical Birthday Bash Revue at the Bellingham Theatre Guild (BTG); Martin Bray, Paul Henderson II, Megann Schmidt, and AkilahWilliams, with special guest appearances by Iris Likkel and Edward Davidson. The revue is produced by Martha Benedict and Kathy Murray, with musical director, Scott Henderson.
