The Motherf**ker with the Hat - TORONTO PREMIERE
The Coal Mine (798 Danforth) presents a Bob Kills Theatre production of The Motherfu**er with the Hat by Stephen Adly Guirgis. Directed by Layne Coleman, starring Juan Chioran, Melissa D'Agostino, Sergio DiZio, Ted Dykstra, and Nicole Stamp. Previews November 9th, runs November 11th-30th (no shows Monday) at 7:30 pm nightly. Lead produced by Diana Bentley, with design by Steven Lucas, costumes by Jenna McCutchen, and stage managed by Ashley Ireland.

Known for its very successful production of Savage In Limbo in 2014, Bob Kills Theatre was founded by Melissa D'Agostino and Diana Bentley for the purpose of presenting unusual plays in unusual venues. With an emphasis on bold pieces of theatre excellent acting, expert direction, and text-appropriate venues, Bob Kills Theatre aims to explore and experiment in all aspects of theatre while entertaining and engaging its audiences.
The Motherf**er with the Hat by Stephen Adly Guirgis will be the first production in The Coal Mine, a space at the heart of the busy Pape and Danforth area in the east end of Toronto that was formerly The Downstage Theatre. The play focuses on the intertwined themes of love and addiction through five characters struggling with various stages and forms of substance abuse and recovery. This is the Toronto premier.
