Energy Efficiency with Modern Glazing

This presentation addresses the different types of glazing available. While giving some history of insulated glass units, it also encompasses recent industry developments and ongoing research. There is a thorough discussion of the different types of LoE and how they work along with touching on the effects gas (argon, krypton) have on IG units. Thermal performance comparisons are made between the different types of glazing, i.e., single glaze, dual insulated glass, LoE2, Pyrolitic LoE, etc., including an overview of energy performance ratings.
