Flowers Took Me There -- Bob Gordon
What do Capetown, South Africa, Japan, London, the Inauguration of George H.W. Bush, the re-dedication of the Statue of Liberty, and flowers have in common? San Luis Obispo's own floral designer Bob Gordon.
During this course, Bob will share with us his experiences in the world, and in the world of flowers. Flowers, themselves, have such character and personality. Each bloom speaks to us with a distinctive color or form. Watch Bob use his skills to balance colors, patterns and textures of the flowers to develop his designs into aesthetically pleasing compositions that will be related to his various international adventures. Bob Gordon, Professor Emeritus Ornamental Horticulture, taught floral design at Cal Poly for 25 years, and has worked with growers, celebrities and Rose Parade float builders. Gordon is the current owner of Gordon's Floral Design Studio in San Luis Obispo.
