Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris
Back by popular demand, Theatre Limina is again partnering with the Bryant Lake Bowl to stage David Sedaris' hilarious dark comedy The Santaland Diaries in Minneapolis beginning December 1st and running through.
In Sedaris' anti-Christmas carol, three narrators recount the holiday horrors of taking a job as an elf in Macy's Santaland. "Sooner or later, the frantic pace of the holiday season and forced 'quality time' with friends/family/co-workers results in burn-out," explains director Eric Nelson. "Maintaining one's sanity sometimes requires escapism. Rest assured that The Santaland Diaries has precious little in common with A Christmas Carol, A Charlie Brown Christmas, or The Best Christmas Pageant Ever."
