ODAWAS was founded by Isaac Edwards and Michael Tapscott in Bloomington, Indiana. Incorporating a love for film music and anything that sort of sounded like Neil Young, they developed ideas they couldn't really pull off. Since moving to Berkeley, California in 2008, they began incorporating a full time band for the first time. Connor Jon O'Sullivan, an old friend from Bloomington, now provides rich and round upright bass tones and the sounds of his cutting 12-string and baritone guitar. Odawas is the contemporary sound for the new adult.
