Story Club Minneapolis
Story Club Minneapolis is spearheaded by producer and host Mimi Nguyen a former Chicagoan, a seasoned Story Club regular, and a friend of founder Dana Norris. A monthly storytelling show, Story Club Minneapolis returns on October 16 at the Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater. The night will feature spoken word artist Sierra DeMulder and local writer Heid Erdrich. Before and at the beginning of the show, the host will invite audience members to sign up for one of the three open mic slots. Each volunteer and featured performer gets eight minutes to tell a first-person narrative. Come and excite your ears!
