Workaholic Suzanne needs someone to greet her recently widowed mother, Alice, upon her arrival at Suzanne's house. She asks her friend Tru, the serial dating lesbian, to be there and Tru obliges. In the ensuing days and nights, Tru spends more and more time with Alice while Suzanne navigates the icy waters that flow between her mother and herself. One thing leads to another as the story deepens and Tru and Alice become better acquainted. Soon, jealousy rears its head as does some unfinished business between Tru and Suzanne. Each woman deals with her own demons as the heartbreaking climax of the film approaches. A beautiful film shot in a picturesque setting, TRU LOVE delivers on every level.
