Skyline College Dance Festival
Open to all! Community members, students and teachers are welcome!
$25 for three classes, lunch and a live band dance party at the end!
Join us for a day of Master Classes in Hip Hop, Contemporary, Tap, Salsa/Rueda and Social Dance, ending with a dance party!
Lunch is included! All ages and levels welcome!

B-Boying with Jason "Spidey" Ferguson
Social Dance with Joan Walton
Salsa with Vera Quijano
Salsa-Rueda with Heike Mansel
Tap with Broadway dancer Gary Ferguson
Modern Hip Hop Fusion with Joslynn Mathis
Contemporary with Amber Steele

LIVE SALSA BAND

We will offer three class blocks, with at least two dance style options during each block, coffee, pastries and a late lunch. After the workshops, each class will demonstrate the choreography that they learned, then have a brief social dance lesson and a dance party in the early evening, to close out our day.
We are currently expecting students from three high schools, two community colleges, and teachers from SJSU, Skyline College and hopefully Mills College and SJSU.
We hope to make this an annual activity that assists with networking and recruitment for Skyline College dance students, and dancers from our community!
It would be fabulous if you'd invite your friends, teachers and students (we'd give you posters); my goal is for students from high school, community college, university and the professional world to all get a chance to network and dance together.
This is a great place to recruit for your classes, dance companies and academic programs.
