The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church
Regional Premiere of New Comedy Launches ActorsNET's 19th Season
EVENT: THE CHARITABLE SISTERHOOD OF THE SECOND TRINITY VICTORY CHURCH: A rollicking yet touching comedy by Bo Wilson enjoys its regional premiere at the Heritage Center Theatre in Morrisville, PA. Straight from its world premiere at the prestigious Virginia Repertory Company, The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church is set in the basement of a small southern church on a dark and stormy night. A small band of women sort through donations for charity relief as a flood rages outside. Soon they are trapped in the church, along with a fugitive from justice and the private detective seeking her. This five-woman comic romp might best be described as Steel Magnolias with a touch of Agatha Christie! ActorsNET Co-Founder Joe Doyle directs (alphabetically) Virginia Barrie of Ewing, NJ; Vicky Czarnik of Levittown, PA; Allison Deratzian of North Wales, PA; Alexa Gutter of Yardley, PA; and Maryalice Rubins-Topoleski of Trenton, NJ. Andrena Wishnie of Morrisville is the assistant director and lighting designer. Kelly Allen of Arneytown, NJ stage manages. Artistic Director and Co-Founder Cheryl Doyle is producer and set and costume designer. Produced by special arrangement with playwright Bo Wilson.
