THE DAVID WAX MUSEUM - "Ambitious fusion of North-and-Latin-Americana...Brilliantly hypnotic and riveting. -- The Noise: Rock Around Boston
"I was amazed. The songs I heard streaming blend Americana with a Latin flavor in a breathtaking display of musicianship..."There Was A Bridge" is the sort of song that others should dream of writing...They've opened for The Avett Brothers and The Everybodyfields. If you dig those bands, Calexico, and Iron & Wine, then say hello to a new favorite." -- HearYa
WOODEN DINOSAUR - Vermont's Wooden Dinosaur are Michael Roberts: vocals, guitar. Katie Trautz: vocals, fiddle, banjo.
ISAAC GILLESPIE - What would happen if Arlo Guthrie and the Band had a baby that then hung out with James Taylor and listened to a lot of Old Crow Medicine Show and sometimes rode the bus with Don DiLego while playing Nashville Skyline on its iPod? Isaac Gillespies 1971 would happen, thats what.
The album is a mix of comfortable folk songs about death, women, friends, love, heartbreak, traveling and friends. 1971 is a 13-song collection featuring Gillespies homey, nasaly voice often harmonizing with itself, singing folky story-songs over a twanging guitar.
