Troubadours of Divine Bliss Concert
The Troubadours of Divine Bliss will once again grace the stage of the Marshall Grange Hall in a rare west coast performance at 7 P.M. on Sunday September 7. This is a benefit concert for the American River Folk Society's Education Program.
The Troubadours of Divine Bliss story began in a spirit-filled, holy rollin', charismatic church in Kentucky. Renee's Dad was the Pastor & Aim Me's Dad was a Deacon. As the Hatfields and Mc Coys of the Pentecostal world, Aim Me's Dad ended up kicking Renee's Dad out of the Pulpit. Ten years later the Universe brought them back together with the vision of being Troubadours of Divine Bliss. Renee had the vision that she was playing the accordion, so she got one. Aim Me learned two chords on the Guitar and the Bliss was born. From the church to street performing in New Orleans to playing clubs and festivals in the US and Europe, the Troubadours have developed a style all their own. They have been on BBC Liverpool, named "Best Folk Band" and "Best Singer-Songwriters" by Louisville's Leo Weekly, have 6 recordings and, in addition to music, they are homesteaders, activists , ministers, healing workshop facilitators and the founders of the Mighty Kindness Hoots- community unity festivals that celebrate all that is kind for the body, soul and mind in Louisville, KY. With accordion, guitar and sweet, unique harmonies "smooth as KY Bourbon, soft as Spanish Moss", these gals sing about courage of the heart and revolution of the spirit in a way that will soothe and inspire your soul. You can learn more about them and sample their music at www.troubadoursofdivinebliss.com.
The Troubadours of Divine Bliss have something for everyone that's unlike anything else you've ever experienced. Don't miss this chance to see them live at the Marshall Grange on this very rare West Coast Tour! The Grange Hall is located at 4940 Marshall Road, in Garden Valley.
