Natural Beekeeping Workshop
Enjoy the sweet rewards of natural beekeeping. Here's what you need to know about keeping bees using natural methods and harvest fresh, delicious honey from your own backyard.
You'll explore various hives, make your own native bee block and play with the bees at the Permaculture Skills Center. If you have your own beekeeping attire, please bring it.
Natural Beekeeper, Derek Downey aka. Bee Love, will be leading this workshop for the backyard beekeeper. Derek is creator of the Davis Bee Sanctuary and founder of Bee Love Permaculture. He brings a permaculture approach to the practice of keeping bees.
