The California Alumni Association - Chinese Chapter proudly presents the 2009 Annual Big Game Dinner Dance!
Come cheer on your Golden Bears with fellow Cal alums in an evening of food, dancing, and fun on Friday, November 20, 2009 from 6:00 - 11:00PM at the Silver Dragon Restaurant in Downtown Oakland! Featuring a Chinese banquet and performances by the Cal Marching Band and Mens Octet. We will also be honoring recipients of this years U.C. Chinese Alumni Foundation scholarships. The event also features raffles and other opportunities to win prizes and sumultaneously support Cal student scholarships!

About the California Alumni Association Chinese Chapter:
The California Alumni Association (CAA) Chinese Chapter is committed to serve the alumni and to advance and promote the welfare of the University of California at Berkeley. To this end, the Chinese Chapter, since its founding in 1933, has provided monetary scholarships to deserving students entering the Berkeley campus. The scholarship funds, sourced from fund raising events and donations from generous supporters, have allowed for the provision of over 20 scholarships and endowments annually, the most of any club or organization at UC Berkeley. The Chinese Chapter has also raised and donated funds for other worthy endeavors, the most recent being a $500,000 donation for the building of the East Asian Library and Study Center.
