The legendary career of Bob Dylan will be celebrated with this special event featuring rare film clips and television broadcasts, some never before seen, ranging from his earliest folk days in 1963 to his electric period of folk rock, political protest songs, and beyond. The program will also highlight some of the great performers who have covered Dylans songs, including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, The Byrds, Eric Burden & The Animals, Joan Baez, The Turtles, Peter Paul & Mary, George Harrison, Neil Young, Manfred Mann, Roger McGuinn, Tom Petty, The Grateful Dead, Johnny Cash, The Band, and more. Bob Dylan has been called the voice of his generation, and for close to 50 years he has created a wide variety of classic songs that have delighted his fans and helped shape American culture. Blowin In The Wind, Mr. Tambourine Man, Like A Rolling Stone, Positively 4th Street, and Knockin On Heavens Door are just a few of his brilliant creations. This one-time evening of rare Bob Dylan performances and music is a must-see for any true Dylan fan.
The program will run approximately 2 hours.
