Comedian Dwayne Kennedy- Live At Deluxe

Dwayne Kennedy, a Chicago native, has developed into one of the nation's top comedians. His social commentary and satirical diversions demonstrate a comic genius that is truly unique. Touted as 'one of today's most insightful comedians,' he has performed his stand-up act in comedy clubs nationwide, and was awarded the Jury Award for best stand-up at the 2002 US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. His television appearances include "The Late Show with David Letterman" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien". Dwayne starred in his own half-hour comedy specials for Showtime and Comedy Central. An accomplished actor, Dwayne has made numerous guest appearances on television programs that include the hit series "Seinfeld" and "Martin". Included among his many film credits are "How High", "Desperation Boulevard", "Amy Stiller's Breast", and "Talkin' Dirty After Dark". Dwayne Kennedy's comedic style incorporates an exceptional mixture of razor-sharp wit, biting satire and social consciousness that consistently leaves audiences desperate for more. He is also a mentor to and friend of W. Kamau Bell who is presenting him at Club Deluxe.
