KATIE SLY (RESIDENCY)
Once you know yourself, do you police yourself? If you self-identify, do you risk calcifying? When you are comfortable and safe, are you free? Is freedom a state of risk, of fear, of re-invention? Is freedom worth what it costs? And how privileged is it to have time to meander around these questions? Using Katie Sly's personal history of infatuation, abandonment, desperation, and ecstasy as field data, she and Jonathan Seinen begin work on a one-woman performative experiment surrounding these questions.
