Plot Summary:
In this Tony Award-winning comedy, it's the 1960s, and self-styled playboy bachelor, Bernard couldn't be happier: a flat in Paris and his Italian, German, and American fiancées, each beautiful airline hostesses with frequent "layovers." Aided and abetted by his trusted housekeeper who begrudgingly plays romantic air traffic controller, everything goes like clockwork. It's all a question of timing; as one fiancée flies in another takes off - while the third is in mid-air on the other side of the world. But Bernard's perfect life gets bumpy when his rube college friend Robert comes to stay, and a new and speedier Boeing jet throws off all of his careful planning. Soon all three stewardesses are in town simultaneously, timid Robert is forgetting which lies to tell to whom, and catastrophe looms. Bernard's fantasy life hits major turbulence! In a hysterical whirlwind of mayhem, Bernard finds out that one woman is all he can handle. A riotous farce that recently enjoyed hit revivals in London and New York, Boeing Boeing is now set to arrive at the ACT. Fasten your seat belts!
