Encore Vocal Arts presents: Masquerade
It's Mozart's famous Requiem as you've never experienced it before. Musicians perform by candlelight, as dancers take you on the thrilling journey of the soul's passing, as portrayed in the Requiem Mass. Mozart completed only half of this work before he died, and Encore will give the Mid-West premiere of a new completion by composer Gregory Spears, who takes Mozart's writing as a point of departure, and completes it as Mozart might have, had he lived in the 21st century. Come dressed in black or wear a masquerade mask to explore the darker side of Mozart.
The pre-show starts at 7pm, concert at 8 pm and party with us after!
