The essence of the hardcore punk band Acts of Sedition is a battle cry against their namesake: an act which forbade Americans to use "disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language" about the United States government during wartime. Hailing from Oakland, CA, the group works to keep political dissent alive through community involvement and constructive lyrics.
