CHAC's Theatre Pass (6 Admissions)
Tired of overpriced subscriptions? Capitol Hill Arts Center's Theatre Pass offers a more affordable alternative. Get 6 admissions to any show you like (bring five friends to one production, or spread out your options over a few shows). It's only $60, which is $10 per admission -- that's about the price of a movie, and well worth it. Here's a chance to support a new theatre, that's breaking the model by producing highly quality theatre at a low cost to you.
There are three productions to choose from this season*:
"Waiting for Lefty" by Clifford Odets "Death of a Salesmen" by Arthur Miller "Archangels Don't Play Pinball" by Dario Fo
Capitol Hill Arts Center is lauded as an up-and-coming theatre and arts center. Theatre productions in its debut theatre season have been boasted by critics as "Intense, persuasive productions" - Seattle Times; "Staged in an imaginative fashion" - Seattle Weekly; and "A very welcome expansion to Seattle's theatre universe" - Seattle P-I. CHAC is also known for its vivacious nightlife offerings in its subterranean venue (with Full Bar) called Lower Level. CHAC Lower Level was the birthplace of the now popular "Iron Composer" by Seattle School along with the charming performance "Love, Exciting Love" by The Typing Explosion and "Salon Mudede" - a critical exploration of the city's cultural awakening led by Stranger culture critic Charles Mudede. Known also for its Art Party collaborations with Graylife, CHAC engages a dynamic atmosphere where the artistically-minded of Seattle can come together and cross genres.
CHAC is located in the heart of Capitol Hill at 1621- 12th Ave. More information can be found at www.capitolhillarts.com.
