Henna (75min)
Henna is an 8 year old girl living in an Emirati fishing village held together by tradition. Set in the United Arab Emirates' recent past, 'Henna' explores the effect of a rapidly developing society on one girl's family. Her mother's illness leads to a divorce, and Henna's only remaining father figure, a Bedouin relative, is driven from the village by the changing environment. With her only happy memory, a recent trip to the new mall in the city, Henna faces an uncertain future.
