Westland Distillery Tasting

We're pleased to welcome our good friends from Seattle's own Westland Distillery on Thursday, September 4th, 2014 to share their fabulous whiskey with us in a special double tasting!

Westland released their first whiskey only just last year, but they've definitely come out of the starting gate with a bang! We were fans of their initial releases, but when they started coming out with their peated and single cask releases, we were completely blown away...these are some beautiful, deep, dark, rich whiskeys, unlike anything you've ever had. Many of their whiskeys are finished in special casks (like Oloroso or Pedro Ximenez Sherry), and this does simply amazing things to their whiskey.

PUBLIC TASTING

From 5:00 to 6:30pm, Westland will offer a public tasting of five of their whiskeys for $5. You'll get to try their initial single malt release, plus some special cask releases. You can drop in anytime, and taste at your own pace. No tickets are required for the public tasting.

SEATED TASTING

For the enthusiast, we're also offering this private, seated tasting with Westland from 7:00 to 8:30pm, where you'll get to sample a broader range of their whiskeys, including some that aren't yet released. The seated tasting includes light snacks, and a Westland logo Glencairn tasting glass that you'll get to take home.

Only 15 seats are available at the seated tasting, so please purchase tickets early if you're interested!
