My Favorite Sings
Join the Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco at the Metropolitan Community Church of San Francisco on Friday, November 14th and Saturday, November 15th at 7:30 pm for "My Favorite Sings"!
As LGCSF enters its 35th Anniversary year, the ensemble looks back through its exciting choral history to feature beloved favorites from our archives, in addition to new pieces that will delight audiences.
William Sauerland, Artistic and Music Director, leads the Chorus through diverse and captivating repertoire including "This Marriage", "Seize the Day", "Harriet Tubman", and "Sure On This Shining Night." Assistant Music Director Paul McCurdy accompanies on piano.
New pieces will include "Famine Song", "Ahriran" (Korean folk song), "Can't Buy Me Love", and "Muero Porque No Muero" (I Die Because I Do Not Die) with guest soloist Audrey Luna. Ms. Luna was the featured soloist for LGCSF's world premiere of "I Am Harvey Milk" - we are very excited to bring back this esteemed guest artist.
Join us for two evenings of old and new favorites!
