Recycled Greenhouse Workshop
Gorge Grown Food Network and the Gorge Rebuild-It Center are partnering to offer a Recycled Greenhouse Workshop on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 9 am - 1 pm. The class will take place at the Gorge Rebuild-It Center located at 995 Tucker Rd., Hood River, OR 97031.
Ian Glasser of Columbia Gorge Garlic will lead this class in which participants will learn how to construct a greenhouse using recycled materials available at the Gorge Rebuild-It Center. Ian will also talk about the diverse range of recycled products that can be used to create a greenhouse and other important factors like materials and placement that will create an optimal growing environment for plants.
Coffee, tea, juice & snacks will be served. Participants will go home with information about how to build their own greenhouse.
