2014 Summer's Final Blast
See an explosive chemistry show by UCD Chemistry Department faculty. Safely look at the sun through a telescope with the Davis-Explorit Astronomy Club. These are just some of the fun and educational activities happening at the Explorit Science Center on September 7th, from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The center is located at 3141 Fifth street in Davis.
Tickets are $20/family before September 7th or $25/family on the day of the event.
Take the ride of a lifetime on one of Peter Wagner's Whymcycles. Watch as the local high school team of Citrus Circuits shows off their national championship robot. Learn more about Davis Makerspace and see their various inventions. Experience Math Fun with Chelsea Lee and her fascinating hands-on mathematical challenges. And use rubber bands to explode watermelons!
During the event, Explorit will recognize the generous support of the Yolo Solano Air Quality Board who made possible Explorit's new hybrid SUV, which is used to deliver educational programs to schools throughout the region.
