Driven by the blast of the Big Bands and their hep star vocalists, the Swing Era was electrifying: From the mid-1930s through the end of World War II, millions of dance-crazed young people went crazy for the new sound, and the creators of Broadway and Hollywood musicals eagerly jumped on the bandstand. Our concert is a salute to a golden era in musical theater history, with songs including "This Can't Be Love," "Accentuate the Positive," "I Hear Music" and "Jeepers Creepers." And our marvelous Song Is You! trio led by Joe Hunter will be ramped up with five horn players from Cleveland Jazz Orchestra. Not to be missed!
