The Dining Room
Twelfth Night Productions is excited to present A.R. Gurney's "The Dining Room." Six actors take on almost sixty different roles, from young children to elderly grandparents to frustrated domestic servants, as an intricate tapestry of vanishing manners and culture unfolds in this unique and wonderful play. The action is comprised of a mosaic of overlapping scenes, some funny, some touching, some tragic, all set in a dining room, arguably the center of family social life until its decline in the modern era.
From its Off-Broadway opening in 1982, The Dining Room has become a favorite of regional theater groups.
