The Cherdonna & Lou Show
Century Ballroom presents The Cherdonna and Lou Show, an evening inspired by celebrities, celebrity impersonators, and Seattle DIY fame.  Cherdonna and Lou combine brains, brawn, and contemporary dance moves (did we mention celebrities?) as they lip sync, piano sync, and tap sync their way through the decades in no particular order. In addition to acts of brand spanking newness, the couple will perform classic favorites from Century's Frolic, including Xanadu and their infamous Sonny and Cher.

Celebrity guests include:

   * 10/16: Orkestar Zirkonium

   * 10/23: The Toy Boats

   * 10/30: Tyler Potts

   * 11/2: Rhinestones

   * 11/6: Steven Arntson

   * 11/13: Miss Indigo Blue

   * 11/20:  Nova Devonie

Cherdonna Shinatra and Lou Henry Hoover met in 1984 in the back of Madonna's tour bus. Lou Henry loves a nice glass of ros, dances the nightclub two step, and collects sugar spoons. Cherdonna has a pet panther, likes toast with mustard, and summers in Weehawken.

Cherdonna Shinatra is Jody Kuehner

Jody Kuehner arrived in Seattle five years ago and joined Launch Dance Theater and d9 Dance Collective. Jody co-founded Left Field Dance Collective in 2004 as well as the company's off-shoot, Left Field Revival with Heather Budd in 2006. Left Field Revival presented work at On The Boards, The Joyce SoHo NYC as well as Seattle clubs Chop Suey & Cairo Gallery. She was the dance intern for the Pat Graney prison project Keeping The Faith 2007 series and became a Pat Graney Company member in 2008 with the debut of House of Mind set to tour Nationally in 2010. Jody will present a new duet with collaborator writer/performer Ilvs Strauss at On The Boards for the Break A Heart show in February 2010

Lou Henry Hoover is Ricki Mason

Ricki Mason has been making dances as LAUNCH dance theater in Seattle since 2003. LAUNCH has been presented by On the Boards, Velocity Dance Center, Bumbershoot, and Century Ballroom. Favorite commissions include The Yard at Martha's Vineyard and Velocity's Bridge Project. Ricki performs as Lou Henry Hoover in various cabaret venues, including in such productions as The Swedish Housewife's House of Thee UnHoly and Lily Verlaine's Land of the Sweets and Through the Looking Glass. Lou is one third of Seattle's pop movement Dance Belt, a trio that performs such favorites as Beyonce's Put a Ring on It, and teaches at Century Ballroom. Ricki also teaches Embodied Movement for Performers at the Academy of Burlesque and Ballet and Modern at Velocity Dance Center. Ricki holds a BFA in Dance from the University of Michigan, and is looking forward to embarking on a new project with KT Niehoff to premier at ACT in 2010.
