Someone is trying to kill Sherlock Holmes. Actually, someone is trying to kill William Gillette an American actor famous for playing Sherlock Holmes. Think of it as someone is plotting against Robert Downey, Jr. or Benedict Cumberbatch nowadays. The play was written by Ken Ludwig, author of Lend Me a Tenor and Shakespeare in Hollywood. It was first presented in 1983 at American Stage Festival in Milford, NH under the title Dramatic License. Nashua Theatre Guild's production will be directed by Robert Runck and stars Larry Lickteig as Gillette. The plays also features Claire Amirault, Maria Barry, Len Deming, Christine Haskell, Steve Kalter,and Marilyn Valentine.
