Wild Yonder's Sleep Away Camp

We're thrilled to announce our upcoming event, which takes inspiration from the most classic of camp experiences, the sleepaway camp. The event will take place on October 4th and 5th at the Betsy Jeff Penn 4H Camp in Reidsville, North Carolina (about 90 minutes from downtown Durham).

Details will continue to be released over the coming weeks, but campers can expect some of the following:

Nature trail hike scavenger hunt

A water relay race across the lake

Capture the Flask

A mess hall feast prepared by Billy Cotter of Toast and forthcoming Dashi in Durham

Campfire songs and skits

Hangover yoga

Skillet brunch and cereal bar

A note about lodging (please read carefully before purchasing tickets):

We will be spending the night in group cabins, equipped with bunks and cots. We are unable to accommodate requests for private/coupled sleeping arrangements (but you can always sneak into the woods to make out if you like).

Each cabin has a bathroom with showers and toilets. Attendees are responsible for bringing their own bedding (sleeping bag) and towels.
