WE ALL WE GOT is Renos newest event, offering a platform for emerging independent artists to be seen and industry creatives to connect with talent. Presented by Inhouse Talent and hosted by Revolutionary Poet Sellassie, WE ALL WE GOT is designed to expose interesting and determined artists, cultivate relationships, and build community among independents. WE ALL WE GOT will be a 2nd Saturday Event at Renos premier live music venue, The Underground which boasts a great stage, sound system, reputation and location.
Advocates of independent music, Inhouse Talents Gina Gallo and Sellassie see the opportunity to contribute to the local arts community among ambitious, forthcoming artists. The duo realize the obstacles independents face and knew they could build a win-win situation if they could create a formula to share resources, thus, WE ALL WE GOT was born. Proving successful in San Francisco, Inhouse Talent is taking the WE ALL WE GOT series to Reno & beyond.
2009 West Coast Hip Hop Award receipant and event host, Sellassie is shining as a leading progressive voice in San Francisco Hip Hop. With a debut release, Im Tryin to Make a Livin Not a Killin, Sellassie explores socio-economic inequities, political injustices and the realities of ghetto life. With a fresh perspective and new sound, Sellassie is an alternative in todays hip-hop, proof that there are young black artists that can make music that is creative, street and smart.
October headliner, Rameses is part founder and member of Dorm Room Muzik. In a dorm room at Utah State, three college athletes began making music with an ASR10 and a 4-track recorder. Pharoah Davis a.k.a Rameses played basketball for Utah State at the same time Richie Panelli attended the school on a track scholarship. The pair teamed up with Davis teammate Rick Randall, to form R.A.P. (Rameses Apprentice Precision.) After school, Davis and Panelli rejoined forces in Reno, NV and picked up where they left off. Daviss wife Natasha, a singer out of Melbourne, Australia, came onboard a short time later. The trio created Dormroom Muzik. Dormroom has made their mark and Rameses is now poised to release an upcoming solo project in December 2009. Be on the lookout for Hiphophead.
Resident DJs Buddah and Dotkom of the Bombshelter are the independent hip hop authorities of Reno. Tastemakers, Radio Producers, Club DJs, Deli owners and brothers, Todd and Scott Lee have created success with their 10+ year history of the Bombshelter on WILD102.9 FM. The show is bigger than ever and is poised to make big waves in the radio industry with an upcoming announcement. Reno artist, Kado the Dreadlocked Gentleman is a hip hop hippie with a southern bay swag u can gig wit.
Smoke & La forged a partnership to form Blotter Ink Entertainment & NoReasoning Productions. The music is the result. Raw underground hiphop talent in its purest form, from the streets, no additives.

From Gardnerville, south of Tahoe Jake Lopes started doing hip-hop about 1 year ago. He makes his own beats, produces as well as writes and sings all his own music. Jake Lopes is willing to go as far as it takes to make a name for himself and make music his life.
