Harsh + Code Duello
Code Duello: Hamilton & Burr is a long-form improv play set in colonial America, starring two of America's angriest founders: Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr. In each performance, two Boston improvisers don wigs and waistcoats, draw pistols, and recreate one of the most infamous personal and political rivalries in American history. Why did Burr and Hamilton hate each other with the fiery passion of a thousand suns? What turned these once-friendly framers into bitter political rivals? What matter of honor could possibly so important as to risk one's life? These are the questions historians cannot answer... but improvisers can!
Code Duello has played to the 2006 Toronto Improv Festival, Del Close Marathon, Providence Improv Fest, and a sold-out run of shows in Boston. In New York for one night only!
