Born and raised in Hawaii, Apio has been working comedy clubs for the past two decades, with a number of TV appearances and the 1991 Seattle Comedy Competition title to his credit is impressive in itself. But with HBO, NBC, and A&E credits, and now a recent winner of the Great American Comedy Festival, a comedy festival in Norfolk, Nebraska created to pay tribute to the legacy of native son Johnny Carson, Kermet is just a performer that should not be missed.
