Gina Salá & Daniel Paul Kirtan & Benefit for Project Ethiopia, Whidbey Island, WA.
Join Gina Salá and Daniel Paul for a heart-opening evening of Kirtan chanting as begin their Northwest Kirtan tour on Whidbey Island. This evening will also benefit Project Ethiopia with a portion of the door receipts going to support this project.

For those coming from the mainland, you can park your car at the Mukilteo Lighhouse Park next to the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal and walk on the ferry. Clinton Community Hall is a 4 minute walk uphill from the Clinton Ferry Terminal.
Gina Salá is a musician, teacher, performer and healer who began chanting at the age of 3 during her childhood years living in an ashram. Gina's engaging personality, voice and wealth of experiences have led her from Himalayan huts to programs at the United Nations, as lead singer for Cirque du Soleil, and beyond. With warmth, humor and devotion, she offers empowering, transformative, heart opening workshops, private sessions and retreats (Maui, Mexico and India) where people experience the power and pleasure of their voice in their body and in the world. Tabla virtuoso and vocalist Daniel Paul has been a mainstay of the world-wide kirtan circuit for over two decades. His training draws on 9 years of study at the Ali Akbar College of Music working closely with Ali Akbar Khan and several great masters of tabla and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to continue his studies with master percussionists throughout India. He has toured as the principle tabla accompanist to Grammy nominee Jai Uttal for over a decade and accompanied or recorded for many of today's leading kirtan, new age and classical Indian artists. Daniel's passion and life-long immersion into the classical, folk and temple traditions of India is magic to witness.
