A Place to Live: The Story of Triangle Square
Getting older isnt for sissies, especially for those seeking to find a place that celebrates who they are. Triangle Square is the first affordable housing project in the US designed exclusively for LGBT elders. The film follows the project from conception through construction to move-in day, highlighting the journey of seven lesbian and gay seniors as they try to secure a place though a lottery system at the highly sought-after residence. The seniors featured are fun and colorful, thoughtful and vulnerable, resilient and lively. Youll ride their roller coaster of emotions and experience their anticipation, celebration, and reinvention. A PLACE TO LIVE (winner of the Audience Award at Outfest 2008) is uplifting and provocative as we get the rare opportunity to see our older selves and how we, too, can handle the challenges of aging with dignity, strength, and a dash of style. Whats your retirement plan?
