WSUPA Black Box Classics presents OUR TOWN
Join us for the WSUPA Black Box Classics' production of Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning play OUR TOWN. Directed by Mary Trotter.
The drama about two ordinary families living in adjacent houses in sleepy Grover's Corners, N.H. in the early 20th century has been described by many, including Edward Albee, as the Great American Play. The plot details the everyday lives of the Gibbs and the Webb families. But underlying the events of their lives - marriages, births, and deaths - is a hope for something more, a transcendental experience unique to the human condition.
Our Town is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.
Six (6) performances at Wadleigh Theatre, Daggy Hall. Dec. 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13. Weeknights at 7:30 p.m. Saturdays at 2:00 p.m.
