Come see the Spirits of Yoknapatawpha County, a unique Oxford experience!
Tickets are still on sale for Sunday's performance! The sealed bid auction for a 1st edition of William Faulkner's, A Fable, will continue through Sunday's performance!
Cedar Oaks Guild will present its biennial production of "Spirits of Oxford" on October 30th and November 2nd at the Powerhouse.
This year's production will have a different slant in that the characters featured are taken from the fictional works of William Faulkner. Thus, the 2014 production will be known as "Spirits of Yoknapatawpha County."
Nine scenes will feature male and female characters from Faulkner's novels, short stories, and his one play. Local actors will bring each of these characters to life!
The opening night performance will be preceded and followed by an elegant reception hosted by Cedar Oaks Guild and the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council. Tickets are $25 for opening night and $15 for the Sunday matinee performance. Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more purchasing tickets at the same time.
The characters and material from the works of William Faulkner are used with the permission of the Faulkner Literary Estate, Lee Caplin, Executor.
