Comedy at the Village

Comedian Brandy Le (Stand Up NBC) hosts a hilarious show with specical guest Miguel Pow Pow, feature Kevin O'Quinn (Funny or Die, CTV) and headliner Ed Hill (XM Radio, Bite TV, Comedy Time TV) at Lougheed Village Pub for one night only!

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.

About the acts:

Brandy Le (Host)

A fresh face to the Vancouver comedy scene, Brandy has quickly
established himself as an act to keep your eye on. His style has been
described as Bruce Lee movie produced by Disney - he's the younger
brother that you hated the least.

Brandy has appeared on numerous shows in Vancouver and Toronto, and
was most recently featured in the 2014 NBC Standup for Diversity
showcase.

Things that scare him include cougars, high urinals, and Vietnamese
birthday parties.

Miguel Pow Pow (Special Guest)

Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela Miguel PowPow has been doing stand up for half of his Canadian life; which no one is really sure due to his secrecy with his immigration status. Moving from one of the most dangerous cities in the world to one of the funniest makes PowPow a very unique act. Voicing out his opinions specially about race has the audience in laughter or in shock but always entertained.

Kevin O'Quinn (Feature)

Kevin O'Quinn is a comedian based in Vancouver. Kevin is a fantastic storyteller, showcased weekly on his podcast, "Tone Sensitive"
He remembers at the young age of six being the funnyman of the household, and impersonating family members at the dinner table during holidays. By age 18, O'Quinn was belting out his fresh stylings in front of paying audiences at local clubs around his hometown.

O'Quinn's casual style and sharp material have proven to be greatly appreciated by his audiences, young and old.

Kevin enjoys blending all sorts of comedy. From absurd silliness to intelligent satire, if it's funny, it's in his act.

Ed Hill (Headliner)

Originally from Taiwan, Ed is an emerging young comic who moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada 18 years ago, thinking he was on vacation at his father's discretion.

Since then, Ed has performed all over the world. He has appeared on Bite TV's "Stand up & Bite Me", XM Radio's "Laugh Attack" and 2 appearances on Comedy Time TV. He was also invited to perform at Comedy Masala in Singapore, Live Comedy Club in Taiwan, the Hong Kong Comedy Festival, NXNE, San Francisco Comedy Festival, Austin Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, the Vancouver Comedy Festival and many more.

Ed is still currently on vacation with his potato-like dogs.
