Coco Montoya in Uncle Bo's Live Bar
Famous blues guitarist, Coco Montoya will be performing a live, early show for Uncle Bo's Blues Bar on Wednesday, September 17. These early Wednesday shows allow guests and listeners the opportunity to break up their week by getting out and enjoying some of the best names in the business.
Coco Montoya spent years honing his craft under the direct influence of Albert Collins and John Mayall. Montoya took over the reigns of lead guitarist in the Bluesbreakers from greats such as Eric Clapton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor. Over the 10 years with the Bluesbreakers he has played for packed houses all over the world and contributed to three of their records. In 1993 he began his solo career and in 2000, Coco signed with Alligator Records. Under Alligator he released three more of his solo records and now is looking to grow internationally by signing with Ruf Records and has just released a new Live Recordings album in July. Coco Montoya is an artist of international caliber playing in this intimate venue.
