ABOUT THE SHOW
Join your favourite Diva Duo for their newest vocal extravaganza and see what hilarity ensues ! Inspired by each other, Your Girlz are back by popular demand and will be accompanied by an amazing live band so you can enjoy the newly minted second round of madness known as "Everybody's Girlz 2 !".
This cabaret styled show will include a little something for the Diva inside of everyone and will feature a slew of tunes from the Theatre, Rock, and Pop worlds for your listening enjoyment. Bring your boa because it's gonna get loud and saucy !!! Make sure to check it out if you missed the first round of madness ... ya never know what's gonna get sung next!
ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
~GITA WIGDORCHIK~
Gita Wigdorchik is a Toronto native. She is a graduate of The Etobicoke School of the Arts (Musical Theatre), and Randolph Academy For The Performing Arts. Gita has been singing, dancing, and acting since she was a child and is known for her versatility as a performer, and her character work. An accomplished dancer and vocalist, over the years she has been influenced by performers such as : Idina Menzel, Ella Fitzgerald, Kristin Chenoweth, Jewel, Pink, and Whitney Houston.
Gita is thrilled to be back at the Flying Beaver Pubaret performing in "EVERYBODY'S GIRLZ 2 !". Other credits include Aunt March in "Little Women" (directed by the Canadian legend Jim Betts), Charlotte in Morris Panych's "7 Stories", and Patty Simcox in "Grease".
Gita would like to thank her Mom, Mr. Sweeney, and especially the ridiculously talented Caroline Martin-Rowe for gracing the stage with her.
~CAROLINE MARTIN-ROWE~
Caroline Martin-Rowe is originally from St. John's, Newfoundland, and has been living in Toronto for over two decades. She is Classically trained, and is an award winning graduate of The Etobicoke School of the Arts (Music Theatre). Continuing her musical pursuits at the internationally-renowned Vocal Jazz Program at Humber College, Caroline was able to focus her studies on Jazz and Blues and further develop as a vocalist.
Since graduating she has worked in studio and live performance around the GTA, darting back to the East Coast whenever possible.
Last year Caroline released her debut Jazz album "SKYLARK"; and in recent years she has headlined at Toronto venues such as The Rex Jazz & Blues Bar, The Reservoir Lounge, The Lula Lounge, Gate 403, Statler's Piano Bar, and in St. John's at the Wreckhouse International Jazz Festival, and The Ship Inn.
She is known for her vocal elasticity and ever evolving sound, and has been influenced by vocalists such as: Dinah Washington, Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone, Alice Russell, Erykah Badu, Eva Cassidy, and Joni Mitchell. She is very happy to be back at the Flying Beaver Pubaret for "EVERYBODY'S GIRLZ 2 !", and wishes to thank the band, her family, Gita, all patrons, as well as the staff at the Flying Beaver!
