The Whale, presented by Walking Shadow Theatre Company
On the outskirts of Mormon Country, Idaho, a six hundred pound recluse hides away in his apartment, eating himself to death. Hoping to find an honest human connection, he reaches out to his long-estranged daughter, only to discover a viciously sharp-tongued teen. Big-hearted and fiercely funny, The Whale tells the story of a man's last chance at redemption, and of finding beauty in the most unexpected places.
The Whale is produced in partnership with Mixed Blood Theatre.

Please note: The Whale is not part of Mixed Blood's Radical Hospitality (free ticket) program. It is offered as part of both Walking Shadow and Mixed Blood's 2014-2015 seasons. A limited number of $10 Economic Accessibility Tickets are available for each performance (advance purchase only). These tickets go on sale on Tuesday, Nov 18, 2014 at 10:00am.
We use variable price ticketing for many performances: a limited number of tickets are available at each price shown. When tickets at one price are sold, purchase tickets at the next price. Order early to lock in your ticket price! All seating is general admission regardless of price.
If available, General Admission tickets at the door are $26, $24 for seniors, $15 for students.
Pay What You Can performance on Monday, Dec 1 at 7:30.
Fringe discount: $18 tickets on Nov 26, 28, Dec 4, 5, 7, 11. Must show current Fringe button at the door.
$10 for patrons using Audio Description or ASL:

Audio Described performance Thursday, Dec 18 at 7:30 by Laura Wiebers.
