Upon coming to the United States, he was cofounder of the popular reggae group The Defenders. Since then he has formed Boogie Brown Band, based out of Seattle, Washington. The band consists of Clinton Fearon, lead vocals, guitar and percussion; Barbara Kennedy, harmony vocals and keyboards; Ire', harmony vocals; Jeff DeMelle, bass; Sergio Cuevas, drums; Bill Jones, trumpet; and Izaak Mills, tenor sax. Together they create danceable rhythms, positive vibes and bring the spiritual message of roots reggae music for all to enjoy.
