ALEXANDER'S FEAST
One of his shorter oratorios, Alexander's Feast has an alternate title: "The Power of Music". This rarely performed masterpiece of tone-painting is a real crowd-pleaser. The Seattle Chamber Singers and Orchestra Seattle, George Shangrow, conductor, bring the complete oratorio to life in the excellent acoustics and comfortable atmosphere of First Free Methodist Church -- where the parking is always free!
