"Show Me the Honey!" Bee Bonanza
Meet our Queens bees (and our queen bee, if you're lucky)by celebrating NYC Honey Week with City Growers in QUEENS!
Peer into the magical world of City Growers' observation hive at Brooklyn Grange rooftop farm in Long Island City, and get the whole family hooked on honeybees! We'll be hosting free, family-friendly activities all day:
Learn the waggle dance, the cool moves honeybees make when they're giving directions to yummy patches of flowers, and see if you can spot any bees busting moves!
Use your five senses to experience the different colors, fragrances, and tastes of honey, and the pollinator-friendly plants that keep our little black-and-yellow friends so busy!
Come celebrate our fuzzy little friends (and maybe learn a thing or two!) Fun for the whole family!
